Unlike the other races created and placed on the faces of Rukan, Loli’s creations were made with their fickle goddess in mind. Loli knew very well how her attention wandered when she became bored with something, so she gave her creations the ability to change. And to add to the variety, she made different groups of her people able to change into different animals.
Wolves, bears, cats, and all the large predators were represented by her race. The ability to change was not the only thing that separated Loli’s people from the other gods’ creations. Unlike the other gods, Loli took an active interest in the people she had created. She would leave the heavens to spend time with each variant of her people often.

Slowly the goddess’ fascination with chaos shifted to the beings she and the other gods had made to populate the cubed world. As time passed, Loli began to spend more time with the races of Rukan than in the heavens. And because of her interactions with those races, she was able to sway more and more toward her teachings of change.
The goddess was pleasantly surprised when the races that took her teaching most to heart were the twin rulers’ own creations, the jin and the rexi. Being the creation of Jinju, the jin were by no means stupid, and when they began to grumble about their treatment at the hands of their goddess, Loli eagerly stepped in.
After all, the heavens had become very dull, in her opinion, and nothing could relieve the pressing boredom than an uprising. So, with Loli whispering in their ears, the jin recruited the rexi to their cause, and then, with Loli’s guidance, the two races stormed the heavens. After a fierce but short battle, the twin rulers were overthrown and the jin took over control of the heavens.

Beaming with pride, Loli looked on as the jin and the rexi began banishing the old gods to the stars in order to keep control of their prize. Loli was spared from banishment because of her help with the uprising, but the jin kept a close eye on her, knowing her nature and how she could quickly become their enemy if the mood overtook her.
They needn’t have worried, however, because once the change had happened Loli lost interest in who controlled the heavens and turned to the new object of her fickle attention. One of the few gods that had escaped the jin and rexi’s retribution. The now hidden goddess of life, Saol.
Loli watched Saol from afar. Short of joining her new obsession within the world’s core, that was all she could do. It was clear to Loli that Saol was her soulmate, but before that could become clear to everyone else, including Saol, a few obstacles had to be overcome. One of the more complicated things to get passed was the fact Loli had sided with the tyrants who had orchestrated Saol’s marriage to domineering Kurnt.
This problem was the only one Loli could not figure a way around. And she dared not approach the other goddess without answers to all the potential problems standing in the way of them being together. And then the answer presented itself, in such a way that Loli believed all the heavens encouraged the match.
